Assistant Clinical Director Job Duties

  • Responsible for managing, directing and supervising nursing services
  • Assist with education and daily oversight of the units
  • Assess the quality of care rendered
  • Help with development of policies and procedures that govern nursing services and other services under his or her position control
  • Responsible for collaborating with other departments and agencies regarding resources and services for improved patient care and staff development
  • Plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and direct the infection prevention and control program and its activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern such programs
  • Responsible for medcart reviews
  • Take charge when the clinical director is out

    • Assistant Clinical Director qualifications

  • Current LPN license
  • CPR certified
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to work flexibly and positively with intermittent interruptions
