Anesthesiologist - Overlook Medical Center - Per Diem role at North American Partners in Anesthesia.

Location : Summit, NJ. This is an anesthesiology opportunity in northern New Jersey with Overlook Medical Center.

Description

Overlook Medical Center is a 350-bed hospital in Summit, NJ, offering a wide array of advanced services, including neurodiagnostic, neurological, and neurosurgical services. This site features a certified Level IV Epilepsy Center and is a hub for the New Jersey Stroke Network and a regional leader in neuroscience care through its Atlantic Neuroscience Institute. The Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center performs a high volume of brain tumor surgeries in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department

Medical management of patients under anesthesia during surgery and other procedures

Pre-anesthesia assessment

Obtain and verify patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitor patient’s physiological condition

Perform clinical interventions as needed

Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical college

ECFMG and FLEX

Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia

Currently licensed as a physician

Total Rewards

Compensation : PRN - $300 / hr and 1099 - $325 / hr
