Demand Generation Manager
Smart City is seeking a Demand Generation Manager to lead our growth marketing efforts and drive measurable impact across paid search, SEO, and digital channels. This role will take ownership of restoring lost paid traffic, expanding organic search reach, building scalable systems and reporting methods, and fueling revenue growth through both acquisition and partnerships.
As the Demand Generation Manager, you'll directly manage our Digital Marketing team and oversee strategy across SEM, SEO, paid social, email, and emerging channels. You'll design omnichannel campaigns that not only generate high-quality leads but also strengthen Smart City Concierge partnerships and referral programs. This role requires both executional expertise and big-picture planning, with clear accountability to KPIs and ROI.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead paid search and SEO strategy to grow profitable traffic and conversions
- Manage and mentor the Digital Marketing team across paid social, email, and campaign execution
- Build and optimize website funnels through CRO, A / B testing, and landing page enhancements
- Develop and execute omnichannel campaigns to support Smart City Concierge referrals and partnerships
- Forecast, manage, and optimize multimillion-dollar budgets across digital channels
- Create and delegate SEO-driven content, ensuring optimization for search engines and AI-powered platforms
- Partner cross-functionally with brand, design, and sales leadership to align growth strategies
- Track performance across channels with GA4, Looker Studio, or similar, delivering transparent ROI reporting
- Identify and test new acquisition opportunities, platforms, and partnerships to expand growth
Required Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of digital marketing experience3+ years of experience in SEO, SEM and PPC2+ years of experience in SEM copywritingExperience managing budgets over $5M annually preferredExperience managing campaigns that drive revenue through e-commerce or strategic partnershipsExperience in inbound marketing, including SEO, SEM, email, and content marketingExperience developing content across multiple digital platforms (blog, email, landing pages, paid ads)Proven track record of writing both short-form (ads, headlines, calls-to-action) and long-form (blogs, email, SEO content) copyExperience in creating end-to-end reports and KPI dashboards for leadership that leverages sheets or Excel and analytics, reporting across the marketing funnel (CTR, conversion rate, CPA, ROAS)Expected Hours of Work :
Typical business hours : 8 : 30am - 5 : 30pm Monday - Friday, availability for escalations may be needed outside of normal business hours.Travel :
Up to 10% of the time.Minimal travel may be required for business functions, team training, and culture events.Compensation & Benefits :
