What Youll Do

As a Pre-Op / PACU RN , you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and safe surgical experience for our patients. Your expertise will help provide the highest level of care , from preparing patients for surgery to monitoring recovery in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) .

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare patients for surgery according to hospital policies & procedures .

Assess and document patient history, vitals, and medication administration .

Monitor patients for anesthesia interactions, side effects, and expected outcomes .

Quickly and efficiently respond to emergency situations using ACLS, PALS, and hospital protocols.

Maintain accurate & up-to-date documentation in Cerner .

Ensure all admission requirements are met before surgery.

Adhere to hospital safety protocols to maintain a secure environment .

Provide compassionate patient & family education regarding the surgical process.

What Were Looking For

Licensure & Certification :

Active Oklahoma RN License (or eligibility)

BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)

ACLS / PALS Certification (training provided if needed)

Skills & Experience :

Strong nursing judgment Ability to make quick, informed decisions.

Excellent communication skills Verbal & written proficiency.

Ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment.
