Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing critical care in a fast-paced step-down unit requires a skilled and passionate Registered Nurse ready to deliver exceptional patient care. This opportunity is ideal for experienced RNs focused on the transition phase between intensive care and general wards, ensuring patient stability and readiness for discharge or transfer.

Location : Augusta, GA

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and assess patients transitioning from intensive care units, identifying subtle changes in health status
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families on post-hospital care, discharge instructions, and health maintenance
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support continuity of care and pliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience :

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, with step-down or progressive care experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to interpret plex patient data and respond to emergencies effectively
  • Skills in patient monitoring, IV therapy, and cardiac care equipment use
  • Strong munication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and fast-paced environments
