About the Role

We’re seeking a versatile and motivated Digital SEO & Web Design Specialist to support the integration of SEO strategies into our newly redesigned website and newsletter platform. This role bridges SEO management, UI / UX design, and basic web development to ensure our digital content is optimized, accessible, and visually engaging.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with SEO, web development, and design teams to implement SEO best practices across web and newsletter content.

Develop user-friendly wireframes and prototypes to guide final webpage designs.

Conduct SEO audits and apply on-page SEO improvements (e.g., metadata, keywords, internal linking).

Provide recommendations to enhance site architecture, navigation, and overall user experience.

Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to align SEO, UI / UX, and content goals.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).

Understanding of UX principles and experience with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).

Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace).

Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Prior experience with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus, but not required.
