• Other Details : A Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) General Cardiologist with an active Arizona license or IMLC eligibility is needed for a full-time, 6-month assignment starting as soon as possible. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break; weekend call is expected 1 2 times per month, with weeknight call frequency to be determined. The position involves providing care to patients per day, primarily adults aged 60 and above, within a hospital-based cardiovascular institute. The cardiologist will join a team with two other physicians and should be comfortable using Cerner EMR. Strong interpersonal and relational skills with staff and patients are preferred. All orientation hours are billable. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with exemptions allowed. Credentialing will include a Teams interview, and candidates should have at least two years of clinical experience along with current ACLS and BLS certifications.
