About the Facility :

Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new production facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. This 1 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art plant—set on over 200 acres—will feature a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles.

Job Summary :

The Manufacturing Engineer (Facilities, Jigs, Tools) supports vehicle production by planning and executing the setup of equipment, jigs, and tools required for efficient assembly operations. This role is key to designing standardized work processes that ensure mass production quality across a diverse range of vehicles.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

• Plan and execute preparation of equipment, jigs, and tools for vehicle production.
• Design and implement work processes to support mass production quality for various vehicle types.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness for N-Gas, N-EV, F-Diesel, and F-EV models.
• Identify and provide solutions to potential issues in vehicle assembly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and process standards for assembly operations.
• Contribute to lean manufacturing practices and standard work development.
