Job descriptionPassionate about storytelling, the great outdoors, action sports, and product journalism? Accountable, reliable, and driven? Interested in making top-notch original content? Collaborate with AllGear Digital team to plan, execute, and deliver organic and branded content video projects Develop shot lists, storyboards and paper edits Schedule shoots and timelines, including building production and post-production schedules Work on-set and on-location to deliver just-in-time video product Manage freelance talent as needed Understand platform trends and best practices (YouTube, Instagram, Tik-Tok, Facebook) ensure video content is optimized for various digital platforms and devices Knowledge of technical specifications and ability to optimize video content for intended release platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Tik-Tok, and Facebook Represent AllGear Digital Studios in sales and other client-facing meetings Use analytical tools to evaluate and improve own work Creative production Videography Editing Talent management Project management 5+ years of production experience, preferably at a media network or production house Strong portfolio & reel showcasing a variety of work samples and projects, including branded content Experience producing with small- to- medium size crews Strong client-facing communication and internal collaboration skills Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Knowledgeable about cameras and audio equipment Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects Excellent eye for detail and a keen sense of aesthetics Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Communications or related field (preferred)
AllGear Digital, whose leading portfolio of outdoor active lifestyle brands included GearJunkie, The Inertia, Switchback Travel, iRunFar and BikeRumor, is seeking a seasoned video producer to join our in-house content studio, AllGear Studios. This position is full-time and ideally works hybrid from our Los Angeles, California office. Highly qualified and experienced remote candidates in the western United States will also be considered. Compensation will be based on skills, experience and geography, and is expected to fall in the $75,000-110,000 per year range.
