Postdoctoral Associate

A company is looking for a Post Doc Associate.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate patient samples and develop testing methods for blood clots

Conduct research on blood clot formation, mechanics, and stability

Support ongoing NIH funded projects in the Biomechanics of Blood Lab

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related discipline

Strong background in rheological testing and viscoelastic properties

Understanding of coagulation and hemostasis

Ability to independently execute research experiments

Capability to lift 20lbs overhead unassisted
