Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering

In this role, you will lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and guide a team of skilled developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems. Your efforts will directly contribute to meeting regulatory needs and enhancing our technology landscape.

What You'll Do :

Take charge of multiple technology projects while leading a team to develop innovative solutions that satisfy regulatory requirements.

Stay abreast of industry trends, share your enthusiasm for new technologies, and mentor fellow engineers while occasionally engaging in hands-on coding or code review.

Collaborate closely with digital product managers to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions that empower millions to achieve financial well-being.

Utilize a variety of programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML / CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a range of AWS tools and services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

A minimum of 6 years in software engineering (excluding internship experience).

At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's Degree.

9+ years of experience with at least one of the following : JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.

4+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure).

4+ years working with open-source frameworks.

1+ years of experience in a people management role.

2+ years working in Agile environments.

This position is available in McLean, VA with a salary range of $225,400 - $257,200 or Richmond, VA with a salary range of $204,900 - $233,800. Candidates in other locations will receive a compensation package reflective of their respective location.
