WDCHOC is a real estate developer and sponsor / guarantor of multiple affordable housing real estate partnerships and non-profit housing corporations.
The Senior Accountant primarily works with WDCHOC's property management and real estate development portfolios and is responsible for direct and complicated transactions among WDCHOC and its multiple companies. The Senior Accountant will manage a portfolio of WDC owned and / or HOC managed properties and entities. The Senior Accountant is responsible for end-to-end processes of intercompany accounting such as reviewing and verifying intercompany charges, reviewing and resolving out of balance / intercompany items, and conducting intercompany account settlements. As a member of the accounting team, the Senior Accountant handles complex transactions and is available to mentor and train other departmental staff.
