We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled candidate to join our team as a Public Safety Charitable Gaming Inspector. The ideal candidate will be responsible to oversee and aid in the registration and / or licensure of non-profit organizations in Games of Chance, Beano and Bingo. This involves ensuring that these organizations adhere to all the necessary regulations and guidelines when conducting charitable gaming activities. This individual is also responsible for conducting field inspections of games that have been registered or licensed, as well as liaising with local law enforcement agencies to provide them with the necessary assistance and training regarding charitable gaming activities. In addition, they will complete formal reports of alleged violations and patron complaints, and for performing any other duties as assigned by the Deputy Director or Executive Director.
A state vehicle is provided for business purposes only for travel to different locations across Southern Maine to conduct inspections and assessments of different charitable gaming activities.
