Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our well-established Cardiovascular Surgery team in Sacramento, CA.

Key Responsibilities :

• First Assist : Support lead cardiothoracic surgeons in the OR during open-heart and thoracic surgical procedures (e.g., CABG).
• Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting (EVH) : Perform endoscopic vein / artery harvesting for graft preparation with precision and expertise.
• Patient Management : Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to cardiothoracic surgery patients in ICU and telemetry units.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and nursing staff to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
