Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and a global medical technology corporation serving customers in Clinical Labs, Health care research & Pharmaceutical industry, seeks an accomplished Quality Engineer II (Calibration).

DURATION : 2 months +

Pay Rate : $35.00 / hr. - $40.00 / hr. (depending upon experience)

Job Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the calibration program across IDS Baltimore locations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, GMP, and corporate standards.
• Develop and document calibration procedures and data sheets.
• Plan and perform calibration and certification testing for equipment such as :
• Temperature indicators, recorders, controllers
• Timers, centrifuges, tachometers
• Pressure / vacuum indicators, flowmeters, pH meters, %RH recorders
• CO2 incubators, thermocouples, RTDs, thermometers, and other probes
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain calibration instruments.
• Maintain calibration renewals of reference standards and history files.
• Provide excellent internal customer support and communication.
• Supervise exempt / non-exempt employees or contractor calibrations when needed.
• Participate in external customer audits of the calibration program.
