Job description13-week assignment with no on-call requirements Float between X-Ray and CT units as needed Work with patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics Perform imaging exams adapting to various protocols for different patient populations Operate GE Maxima CT equipment, GE Definium Tempo X-Ray, and GE portable X-Ray units Conduct various CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis scans with and without contrast Perform specialized imaging such as coronary CTA, vascular CTA, trauma head, and transplant studies Prepare and administer contrast media as needed Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture Maintain radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions Work in emergency department and handle musculoskeletal trauma cases Required certifications : ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS Minimum 1 year experience as both a Radiologic Technologist and CT technologist Technical school diploma from accredited Radiography program required Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs Experience with PACS systems preferred Epic charting system experience preferred 8 hours of orientation provided First time travelers accepted Referral bonus
