Your Role
Lead radar compute architecture development for Aptiv's future automotive radars.
Responsibilities
- Create, deploy and maintain radar signal processing software
- Support local and global radar algorithm teams in the deployment of algorithms for rapid prototyping
- Propose and implement rapid-prototyping systems utilizing vendor and off-the-shelf hardware
- Work with team members on existing radar signal processing software in c++ and Matlab
- Deploy machine-learning implementations on pc and embedded compute. Develop real-time and offline implementations using Pytorch, CUDA
- Develop software to parse radar ADC data from development radars
- Write scripts and tools for offline data analysis, algorithm validation, and regression testing
- Become an owner of software libraries and tools used by global Aptiv teams
- Support internal and external customers, world-wide
Must Haves (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Computer engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant disciplines5+ years of experience in software and systems developmentStrong coding skills in c++ and / or MatlabExperience using Pytorch or CUDAExperience implementing DSP algorithmsCritical thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skillsExperience with revision control and issue tracking on large collaborative projects (Git, Jira, Jenkins or similar)Ability to work on site in Agoura Hills, CANice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical degreeExperience with radar technology, including system architectures, waveforms, antenna types, and radar signal processingExperience using microprocessor / DSP intrinsicsKnowledge of automotive CAN and Ethernet communication protocolsExperience profiling and optimizing codeExperience developing DevOps toolsWhy join us?
