Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality product and service delivery (PSD) in support of operational and customer needs. This role involves conducting quality assurance testing, supporting fluid design and additive selection, preparing detailed laboratory reports, and ensuring all laboratory work meets required standards. The Technician also collaborates closely with technical teams and support laboratories to ensure optimal service delivery.
Job Description
- Conduct quality assurance tests on products to ensure performance and compliance.
- Prepare laboratory reports and documentation prior to service delivery at the wellsite.
- Provide advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design.
- Assist Design / Technical Engineers and Product Specialists with technical inquiries as needed.
- Prepare technical presentations for internal team members and external customers.
- Ensure all job deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
- Maintain laboratory equipment in clean and proper working condition.
- Dispose of laboratory waste according to established procedures.
- Perform routine audits to ensure the laboratory meets required standards and regulatory expectations.
- Maintain communication with support labs, operations centers, and technical resources as required.
- Perform risk analysis before each task to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns.
- Participate in safety (HSE) and quality initiatives to promote continuous improvement.
- Wear required PPE and consistently follow all safety and operational policies.
- Maintain mandatory safety and compliance training.
- Participate in Service Quality Meetings and contribute to performance improvement action plans.

Highschool diploma or GEDPay Rate
$24 per hour and higher depending on experienceAdditional Details
