Growing Non-Profit Seeks Psychiatrist to Join Their Southern CA Practice

DESCRIPTION:

• Non-profit FQHC
• Currently treating 107,000 lives
• Work with a team of primary care physicians, PA's, NP's, and behavioral health providers
• Will be performing assessments, med management, and diagnostic evaluations
• Brief, evidenced-based pharmacologic services are provided to children, adolescents, adults/or older adults in the primary care setting
• Performs crisis interventions, as needed

REQUIRED:

• At least 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• CA medical license in good standing, or ability to obtain
• Sensitive to multi-cultural concerns and the psychotherapeutic process required
• Experience with primary care psychiatry or consultation-liaison psychiatry desired
