Position Summary :

The Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. This position focuses on providing high-quality rehabilitative care and ensuring patients reach their maximum potential in a professional, outpatient clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.

Provide direct therapy services focused on improving mobility, strength, endurance, and coordination.

Instruct and motivate patients during exercises, functional activities, and mobility training.

Observe patients during treatment, noting changes in condition or response to therapy.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and progress reports.

Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue recovery at home.

Adhere to all facility and departmental policies and procedures to maintain compliance and safety.

Education & Certification Requirements :

Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.

Active Georgia PTA license (or eligibility to obtain).

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Outpatient experience preferred.

New grads and first-time travelers are welcome to apply!

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Contract Details : 13-week assignment
