Pay Range : $16.12 - $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience
Schedule : Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. (some outreach travel required)
About the Role :
As a Medical Assistant in our ENT department at Quincy Medical Group, you'll support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role includes both clinical and administrative tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with patients of all ages, help prepare them for specialty ENT visits and procedures, and assist with outreach clinic needs when scheduled.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Escort patients to exam rooms, prepare them for ENT evaluations, and document accurate vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist providers with ENT-specific procedures such as ear cleanings, nasal endoscopies, hearing-related assessments, and minor in-office treatments.
- Support referral coordination, prior authorizations, and medication refill requests.
- Manage incoming and outgoing patient calls, messages, and documentation.
- Schedule tests and diagnostic procedures and share results or follow-up information with patients.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms and equipment.
- Provide patient education and coaching based on provider instructions.
- Travel with the ENT team to outreach locations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
