Locum Tenens Opportunity : Internal Medicine - Cardiology Physician (Near Annapolis, MD)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine - Cardiology Physician for a locum tenens position near Annapolis, MD. Job Responsibilities :

• Cardiology Care

Provide comprehensive cardiology care during weekend shifts.

• Manage patient admissions, rounding, and consultations within an inpatient setting.
• Focus on general cardiology with an emphasis on ensuring continuity of care during weekends.
• Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care to patients.

• Engage with nursing staff, other physicians, and hospital administrators to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Credentialing and Privileges

Full credentialing and privileges must be obtained prior to starting.

• Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.

Certification and Licensing Requirements :

• Board Certification

Must be board-certified in Internal Medicine with a specialization in Cardiology.

• Fellowship in Cardiology is required.
• ACLS and BLS Certification

Required

• Maryland State License

Must be licensed to practice in the state of Maryland.

• Temporary privileges may be available to expedite the start date.
