Responsibilities
- Safely operate, maintain, and monitor boilers, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other stationary equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance in accordance with approved job plans and company standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Respond to service calls for gas-fired boilers, chillers, AHUs, fire pumps, generators, UPS, ATS, BAS, and fire alarm operations.
- Document all inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements in the site CMMS system.
- Ensure operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to stationary equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure seamless operation and timely resolution of issues.
- Act as a first responder during stationary equipment emergencies, implementing safety procedures and addressing issues promptly.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest equipment trends, best practices, and training opportunities.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10+ years of facilities maintenance experience.DC 3rd Steam Engineer License / Stationary Engineer's license.U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a government security investigation.Ability to obtain & maintain HSPD-12 & Secret clearance (preferred).Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation.Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial-industrial building equipment such as chillers, boilers, pumps, control systems, air handlers, cooling towers, and VAVs.Familiarity with building mechanical and electrical equipment functions and HVAC control applications.Benefits
