Developer Relations Engineer - Parallelized Layer 1 Blockchain
Location : New York (Hybrid)
Compensation : $150K - $225K

You will be the crucial bridge between the core engineering team and the global developer community.
As a Developer Relations Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the developer experience, gathering crucial feedback, and advocating for the needs of our community to foster a vibrant ecosystem around the blockchain.
Responsibilities :
- Technical Support & Advocacy : Provide hands-on assistance to developers, helping them troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and understand best practices.
- Content Creation : Develop and maintain high-quality technical resources, including tutorials, sample code, comprehensive documentation, and blog posts to guide builders.
- Community Engagement : Actively participate in developer communities across platforms like Discord, Telegram, and GitHub , fostering a collaborative environment and addressing questions.
- Feedback Loop : Systematically gather insights from the developer community to directly inform the core product roadmap and improve the overall developer experience.
- Ecosystem Growth : Collaborate with external partners and projects to expand the blockchain's reach and adoption within the broader ecosystem.
Requirements
Prior Experience : Proven experience as a Developer Relations Engineer, Technical Support, Protocol Integrations, or Software Engineer within the crypto space.Smart Contract Proficiency : 2+ years experience with Solidity is a must; familiarity with YUL and Vyper is a plus.Technical Background : STEM degree preferred (master's degree is a plus) or equivalent professional experience.EVM Knowledge : Experience with Ethereum clients (e.g., Geth) and adjacent infrastructure.Tooling : Familiarity with common development tools like Foundry, Hardhat, and Wallets .Communication : Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.Community Engagement : Demonstrated experience in engaging and growing developer communities on platforms like Discord and Telegram.Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) :
Additional Languages : Experience with programming languages such as Rust or Go .Frontend Proficiency : 2+ years with JavaScript or TypeScript .Blockchain Activity : Active participation in open-source projects, especially within the blockchain space.EVM Infrastructure : Familiarity with EVM indexers and dApps.Multimedia Skills : Skills in creating video tutorials, live coding sessions, or organizing developer events, workshops, or hackathons.AI Tooling : Experience with AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and AI-assisted tooling (e.g., Cursor).Benefits
