Your Impact
You will own end-to-end delivery for AT&T Southeast IFP (Infrastructure / Fiber Program) projectscoordinating scope, schedule, and budget across multiple, concurrent builds. You'll track critical path dates, drive risk resolution, and lead recurring cadence meetings to keep internal teams, vendors, and municipalities aligned. With a strong grasp of OSP design standards ROW / easements , and FTTH deployment, you'll translate engineering work prints into executable field plans, ensuring on-time, on-budget completions and reliable service availability across your assigned geography.
Core Responsibilities
Program Delivery & Controls
Manage a portfolio of Southeast IFP projects from kickoff through closeout; maintain baselines for scope, schedule, cost , and quality.
Build and maintain project plans, milestones, and dependency maps; proactively course-correct to meet targets and SLAs.
Monitor and report budget health (forecast vs. actuals), change orders, and variance drivers.
Scheduling, Risk & Reporting
Track critical dates (design release, permits, material / crew readiness, build, splice / test, and in-service).
Identify risks / constraints; assign owners, due dates, and mitigation plans; follow through to closure.
Publish clear, periodic status reports and executive summaries with ETAs and completion predictions.
Stakeholder Leadership
Lead effective stand-ups and checkpoint meetings with engineering, construction, vendor PMs, field operations, and customer teams.
Coordinate with jurisdictions and utilities for permits, inspections, locates, and make-ready ; escalate blockers early.
Engineering Execution
Interpret engineering plans / work prints ; validate constructability and redline issues for quick resolution.
Apply OSP design principles (fiber cable routes, pole line / conduit systems, handholes, splice cases) in planning and build sequencing.
Oversee ROW / easements acquisition with accurate documentation and adherence to local / state requirements.
Lead FTTH deployments to ensure address readiness and service availability across the assigned footprint.
Process, Systems & Quality
Keep internal and client systems / trackers current (project status, dates, costs, documents, as-builts).
Standardize and document procedures; drive continuous improvement using KPIs (cycle time, hit rate, rework, cost variance).
Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards across all build phases.
Core Experience
Technical Proficiency
Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint ; working knowledge of SharePoint and an aptitude to learn AT&T and internal PM / OPS tools.
Comfortable reading OSP drawings , plats, and utility maps; familiarity with permitting portals and inspection workflows.
Leadership & Collaboration
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and vendors; strong facilitation, escalation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to influence without authority and maintain momentum across engineering, construction, supply chain, and municipalities.
Project & Process Management
2â??3+ years managing multi-site telecom / utility / construction projects with measurable results in schedule adherence, budget control, and quality
Track record of defining / documenting processes, using metrics to drive improvement, and delivering complex, strategic initiatives.
Preferred
AT&T program familiarity (Southeast IFP standards, SLAs, deliverables) and knowledge of OSP activities (fiber design, pole line construction, conduit design).
Experience coordinating ROW / easements, permits, make-ready , and FTTH address readiness.
Other Requirements
Excellent organization and communication (written / verbal); self-motivated and deadline-driven.
Valid driver's license with acceptable record; able to meet pre-employment screening requirements.
