$29.00 / hour (based on experience)

Hours : Monday

Thursday, 6 : 00 AM

3 : 30 PM

Duties of the printing press machinist :

Set up and run printing press equipment according to job specs and production requirements

Read and interpret job tickets to verify materials, components, and setup details

Oversee press operations to maintain consistent quality and workflow efficiency

Conduct continuous in-process inspections to catch defects such as scratches, misprints, denting, or alignment issues

Document production details and complete shift paperwork accurately

Provide guidance and direction to a press helper assigned to your machine

Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on press machinery

Troubleshoot production issues using appropriate tools and methods

Maintain a clean and safe operating area while adhering to all company safety procedures

Requirements of the printing press machinist :

Previous experience operating printing presses or similar industrial machinery preferred

Strong mechanical skills with a high attention to detail

Ability to follow written instructions and complete production documentation

Comfortable working within tight tolerances and performing detailed quality checks

Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly (and occasionally up to 100 lbs)

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

High school diploma or GED required
