First Connect Health is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in University Place, Washington.

Unit : Home Health SLP

License to Submit : Yes required

Shift Length : 8 or 10 Hours

  • Department : Home Health SLP
  • # of patients treated per day 4-5
  • General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS
  • Other Required certs for all SLP? CCC- SLP preferred but not required
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients CVA, ALS, MS, Variety levels of Dementia
  • Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient? Background in rehab SNF is helpful if not have HH
  • What areas are they required to cover? South King - Burien, Tukwila, Kent, Federal Way) and Pierce County (Tacoma, Lakewood, Puyallup

    • Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties Dysphagia / Swallow assessment Cognitive and Aphasia care

  • Rehab Aides : SLA's
  • Shifts & Scheduling M-F 8a-5p or Mon-Thurs 8a-6p
  • Weekend Requirement No
  • Holiday Requirement No
  • Scrub Color / Dress Code Scrubs or Business Casual
  • Department specific orientation Yes 2 weeks
