- Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Educate students on basic academic concepts, social skills, and emotional regulation.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes learning.
- Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Qualifications
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- First aid certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
- Previous experience in babysitting or childcare roles is advantageous.
