Gastroenterology Hospitalist Opportunity near BEULAVILLE, NC

Job Overview :

A remarkable opportunity awaits a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to work as a GI Hospitalist near BEULAVILLE, NC. This position is open to both MDs and DOs, with a warm welcome to J-1 or H-1B visa candidates. The role offers full-time employment with a competitive salary range, and currently, no bonuses are offered.

Candidate Requirements :

The organization is actively seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Gastroenterologist to work as a GI Hospitalist. The availability of positions stems from an expansion initiative.

  • 100% inpatient clinical responsibilities, involving consults and inpatient procedures, contributing to a varied and intellectually stimulating role.
  • A structured Monday-Friday one week on, one week off schedule, promoting work-life balance.
  • Occasional weekend coverage, enhancing the scope of experience and contributing to a well-rounded practice.
  • State-of-the-art newly renovated inpatient GI lab with 3 interventional rooms and 20 pre and post-procedure bays, ensuring a conducive and modern working environment.
  • The opportunity to teach and be supported by the Gastroenterology fellowship program, including 6 fellows and residents, fostering mentorship and knowledge exchange.
  • Fellows take first call, distributing responsibilities and allowing for a collaborative approach to patient care.
