Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid : $929.60

Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) : $1,136.40

Weekly Gross : $2,066.00

LOCAL PAY : $42 / hr - $45 / hr

Job Description :

POSITION EXPECTATIONS (Includes but is not limited to) : Evaluates, assesses, and plans nutrition care to meet patient nutritional needs.

• Assesses patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards.
• Counsels patients and / or families by identifying nutrition-related problems. Develops plans of instruction and nutritional care, and monitoring results.
• Identifies inpatients at nutritional risk and documents recommendations.
• Diagnose and develop intervention for patients with malnutrition
• Participates in physicians' rounds, discharge planning rounds, and conferences with nutritional implications.
• Conducts education programs for patients, community groups, and staff.
• Precept and mentor new staff or existing staff in clinical specialty area.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with multiple subspecialty care team members and providers that enables planning and participating across a broader spectrum patient care.
• Cross-covers a broader spectrum of patient care areas and subspecialties as needed.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
