Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5+ years of total CST experience
• At least 2+ years in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• 1 year of CVOR experience in a surgical setting
• Scrub experience with proficiency in thoracic, vascular, and cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
• Experience with procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, etc.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques, crash cart management, and equipment documentation
• Familiarity with charting systems, specifically EPIC
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Additional certifications related to cardiovascular and surgical technology
• Ability to adapt to various shift patterns and weekend rotations
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• 5+ years of experience in surgical services, with focus on cardiac and vascular procedures
• Prior work in trauma settings is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Availability for evening shifts (2x8 and 2x12 hour shifts), including call requirements
• Flexibility to work anywhere within the 0630-2300 timeframe
• Valid BLS certification
• Ability to travel if necessary
• Valid parking permit, with options available at CampusParc
