  • Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Labor, Pre Term Labor, Pre-eclampsia, Substance Use Disorders, Hyperemesis Gravidum, Pyelonephritis, Gestational Diabetes, Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn

    • Job Requirements

  • Required Certifications : BLS, ALS, NRP
  • Preferred : Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, STABLE, PALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills : Couplet Care
  • Are RNs required to titrate drips? : Yes

    • Schedule Information

  • ASAP START DATE 1 / 6 or 1 / 20
  • Mandatory call : (4) 4hr shifts a month
  • Weekend Requirement : Every Other
  • Holiday Requirement : 1 major, 1 minor, 1 difficult to staff

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Unit / Department specific orientation : 1 day hospital orientation, 1 shift orientation on unit; nights - call required.

    • Additional Details

  • Housing is very difficult with pets - CC must put in a special housing finds prior to placement.
  • Charge Nurse / House Supervisor available 24 / 7.
  • OB / Neonatologist in house 24 / 7? Family Practice Residents available 24 / 7, High Risk OB on call 24 / 7.
  • RT Equipment : Vents and Nasal bubble CPAP.
