Position : Electrical Engineer

Location : Austin, Texas

Salary : $120,000-$135,000 Yearly

Position Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in embedded electronic systems to lead hardware architecture, system integration, and component development for our dispenser products. This role combines technical leadership with the opportunity to grow into a future management position. The ideal candidate will excel in solving complex engineering challenges while inspiring and mentoring peers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture, design, and review of electronic hardware systems, including schematics and component selection.
  • Provide guidance on PCB design / layout best practices (signal integrity, power integrity, EMC / EMI, manufacturability).
  • Drive technical roadmaps for electronic hardware platforms and ensure scalability across product lines.
  • Establish design guidelines, workflows, and tools for the electrical engineering team.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong system-level knowledge of embedded hardware architectures and microcontrollers.
  • Proven track record of leading technical projects and mentoring peers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Familiarity with PCB design and layout tools (Altium, OrCAD, or equivalent) preferred.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SolidWorks for electro-mechanical integration.
  • Advanced problem-solving methodologies (DFX, DFSS, FAST, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with microcontroller programming (C) and system-level validation.
  • Experience with communication bus protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB).
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and design constraints for volume production.
