Job Details

Key Responsibilities :

  • Independently manage a caseload of medical malpractice defense matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft and respond to discovery, take and defend depositions, and handle motion practice
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
  • Develop litigation strategies tailored to the facts and legal issues of each case
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance carriers
  • Ensure high-quality legal representation with a focus on client service and efficient case management

    • Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice defense litigation
  • Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior trial experience preferred but not required
