Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to serve as a key connection between customers, internal operations, and leadership teams. This role ensures customer needs are met by aligning resources, facilitating communication, and driving projects forward. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and plant leadership to establish labor rates and staffing requirements for accurate quoting.
- Coordinate with production teams to communicate timelines, material needs, customer visits, trials, and equipment availability.
- Act as a liaison between customers, sales, and internal management to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prioritize and manage customer requests, ensuring needs are translated into actionable tasks.
- Gather specifications for raw materials (e.g., film, fabric, corrugate) and work with purchasing and production staff to secure them.
- Manage the quoting process, including maintaining a historical database of products, customers, and pricing.
- Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret business information, technical documentation, or regulations.Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and present findings to leadership teams.Strong project management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Demonstrated success in customer relationship management and problem-solving to exceed customer expectations.Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts (probability, statistics, ratios, percentages) and their practical application.Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), with additional experience in Google Workspace and Outlook.
