Required Education, Experience, & Skills

A Bachelor's or Master's degrees are preferred with a minimum of six (6) year's relevant experience. Two (2) additional years experience for a total of eight (8) years is acceptable in lieu of a degree. Bachelor's or Master's Degree are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following :

• Monitoring and managing database environments with regard to data import, data availability, data accuracy, and general database performance.
• Installing, upgrading, and configuring databases.
• Supporting performance tuning of database queries and code
• Troubleshooting database issues and data related problems
• Maintaining and tuning backup and recovery processes.
• Supporting implementation and configuration if database security architecture, software, and controls.
• Supporting requirements analysis, technical design, and implementation of databases based on functional specifications
• Providing Database Administrator (DBA) support for application developers.
• Commercial database technology (e.g., Oracle, SQL)
• Open Source-Available Database technologies (e.g. MongoDB, MariaDB, MySQL)
• Database tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, DBArtisan
• Solaris, Linux, Windows environments

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Full-Time Salary Range : $130355 - $221603. Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
