Buyer – Procurement & Supply Chain
Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our procurement and supply chain team. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, and services at the most cost-effective pricing while ensuring timely delivery to meet production requirements. The Buyer will manage supplier relationships, maintain ERP system accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Review material requirements and create purchase orders to support production and sales forecasts.
- Maintain supplier data in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and monitor material availability.
- Coordinate with logistics teams and freight forwarders for land, sea, and air shipments, including tariff negotiations and cost analysis.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier development.
- Manage shortages, expedite orders, and ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business ; equivalent buying / procurement experience accepted.Knowledge of standard purchasing practices, vendor negotiations, and inventory management.Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred) .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
