Job descriptionMaintains organization and cleanliness of EVS warehouse. Maintains organization and cleanliness of Moving Truck (completely empty cargo bay and clean weekly). Maintains inventory of items stored in EVS warehouse using inventory control program on computer. Safely moves furniture and equipment as requested by hospital departments. Capable of lifting and maneuvering equipment and furniture, in excess of 100 lbs. Perform tasks with proper procedure, PPE and body mechanics in all aspects of job. Shares responsibility for keeping hand and power tools in good working order. Flexible with work schedule, able to adjust hours and work weekends when needed. Fill in for absences as necessary for waste and linen. Ability to maintain a good rapport and communication with all levels of AnMed staff. Good communication skills. Good physical health. Ability to read and write. Walking & standing 8 hours per day. High School Diploma or GED required. Basic computer knowledge. Valid SC Driver's License. MVR required. Must pass physical for DOT certification. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and work with all levels of staff. Requires ability to lift and maneuver equipment and furniture. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
