Job descriptionLead and inspire the housekeeping team, providing daily supervision and ensuring adherence to high service and productivity standards. Assigning tasks to staff and meticulously inspecting their work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures. Communicating effectively with guests and employees, both verbally and in writing, addressing inquiries and providing clear guidance. Thoroughly inspecting and preparing units to guarantee they are spotless and ready for guest occupancy. Assisting in the training and professional development of both new and existing staff members. Reporting engineering issues promptly in accordance with established company procedures. Responding swiftly to guest requests and follow-ups, delivering exceptional customer service. Other duties assigned by leadership team. High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). Over 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within Housekeeping. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in outdoor weather conditions Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English. Must have basic to intermediate computer skills such as data entry, email management, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace.
