About the Role :

As a server at WEST10WEST, you are the orchestrator of our guests' dining experience, a guide leading them through a culinary adventure that tantalizes their taste buds and leaves a lasting impression. Your role goes beyond delivering plates; you're a storyteller, a hospitality ambassador, and an integral part of the vibrant atmosphere we cultivate. We are focused on finding a weekend server to cover Saturday and Sunday , required.

• Experience in Fine Dining : Previous experience working in a fine dining establishment, preferably in a similar intimate setting, with a strong understanding of upscale service standards.
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills : Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their dining experience.
• Knowledge of Share Plates Concept : Familiarity with the concept of share plates and the ability to effectively explain and recommend menu items to guests, while accommodating varying dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Proficiency in Wine and Cocktail Service : A solid understanding of natural wines and low ABV cocktails, with the ability to make recommendations and provide information on beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience.
• Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with guests, collaborate with colleagues, and relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail to ensure orders are taken accurately, food and beverages are served promptly, and tables are properly set and maintained throughout service.
• Team Player Mentality : Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth service operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Adaptability : Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities, including the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
• Professional Appearance and Demeanor : Presentable appearance and professional demeanor at all times, reflecting the upscale atmosphere and standards of the restaurant.
• Knowledge of Culinary Trends : Awareness of current culinary trends and a genuine passion for food and beverage, with a willingness to continually learn and expand knowledge in the field.
• Responsible Alcohol Service : Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices, including checking identification, monitoring guest intoxication levels, and following applicable laws and regulations.
