Location : California – Remote flexibility offered, but candidate must reside in California and be an active member of the California Bar . Occasional in-office appearances may be required at one of the firm’s offices depending on proximity (Irvine, Los Angeles, Ontario, Oxnard, San Francisco, Fresno, Sacramento, Carlsbad, San Diego, etc.).

Compensation : $120,000.00 - $275,000.00 (commensurate with experience), plus bonus

Billing / Hours : 1900

Our client, an Am Law 100 firm with a nationally recognized litigation platform, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Environmental and Toxic Tort practice group. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of toxic tort and asbestos defense litigation from case inception through resolution.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and trial-related filings.
• Conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, experts, and corporate representatives.
• Coordinate with experts in fields such as industrial hygiene, environmental science, and epidemiology.
• Develop defense strategies and communicate effectively with clients and co-counsel.
• Represent clients in both state and federal courts, handling case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation.
