Bakery Prep Associate
The Bakery Prep Associate plays an important role in keeping our bakery running smoothly. This position focuses on assisting with daily baking operations by supporting oven production, preparing and packaging baked goods, and ensuring our shelves and showcases remain well-stocked and inviting for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, and label baked items for retail sale.
- Assist with loading, removing, and rotating products in and out of ovens
- Stock and rotate products in the bakery showcase and on shelves to maintain a fresh and appealing display.
- Monitor product quality and freshness, removing items that do not meet standards.
- Support bakers with basic prep tasks as directed (e.g., setting up trays, arranging ingredients).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service when needed.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.Prior bakery, food service, or retail experience is helpful but not required.Ability to safely handle hot trays and bakery equipment.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented with a positive attitude.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift trays or boxes (up to 30 lbs) for extended periods.Comfortable working in warm bakery environments.Benefits :
