Description :
The Director of Clinic Operations oversees a large team, including experienced professionals and subordinate managers. Their primary focus is on tactical and operational planning with a short- to mid-term perspective, taking substantial responsibility for achieving broad organizational goals through their team. The Director ensures the effective day-to-day operation and service delivery across assigned clinics, managing operational efficiency and the quality of services at all locations. They directly supervise Practice Managers and spearhead initiatives to improve clinical outcomes and operational performance, enhancing experiences for both staff and patients. Furthermore, the Director fosters strong professional relationships with physicians, hospital partners, staff, patients, and the broader community.

Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for oversight of clinical operations across assigned region, supervising assigned personnel to ensure quality patient care, including forms and procedures as required.
- In collaboration with the Practice Manager, monitors and ensures operational performance goals are met. Works with practice manager to optimize staffing, appointment schedules, workflows policies and procedures, as needed to meet goals.
- Administers policies, procedures, process improvement, training, and evaluation that help support efficient clinic workflows, productivity, quality improvement and customer service.
- Monitors that office space, supplies, are maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care in assigned clinics.
- Create, analyze and present data and reports as relevant to clinical operations.
- Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions, assists in interviews, trains, and orients staff.
- Works with senior management to ensure operations and relations are effective
- Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.
- Monitors to ensure personnel forms and / or records are kept updated and submitted to other departments in a timely manner.
- Ensures that offices for new and incoming physicians are ready and equipped.
- Mentors managers on the coordination of staff work activities and serves as resource to medical management staff in various market(s).
- Evaluates and makes recommendations for business development and expansion opportunities within assigned territories.
- Provides leadership and mentoring to staff in establishing department objectives related to staffing, policies and procedures.
- Monitors patient satisfaction and implements plans and programs to continually enhance services provided.
- Ensures all operational services meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field3 years of clinic operations, including one year of supervisory experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including ExcelComputer literacyKnowledge of organization policies and procedures and ability to apply principles to solve everydayKnowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniquesKnowledge of office management techniques and practicesSkill in gathering, analyzing, and evaluating dataSkill in written and verbal communicationAbility to exercise initiative, problem solving, decision-makingAbility to establish priorities and coordinate work activitiesStrong business acumen and proven leadership skillsGood communication and customer service skillsPreferred Education, Experience & Skills
Foundational understanding of clinic financials with the ability to analyze operations and continually implement efficient operational processes requiredProfessional healthcare license or certification preferredStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including ExcelKey physical and mental requirements :
