Donor Recruitment Manager
Purpose : Responsible for ensuring mobile blood drive goal attainment and efficiency by coaching the account manager team to success through their adherence to mobile recruitment best practices, account manager tool kit utilization, drive scheduling, and processes. In conjunction with the Director of Donor Engagement, the donor recruitment manager will monitor mobile drive collections, projection accuracy, and implement improvements and corrective action plans as required.
Responsibilities :
- Provide direction and motivation to account manager team towards goal achievement and efficiency; interview and hire employees as necessary based on established and / or projected staffing requirements; investigate and rectify employee performance and / or behavioral inadequacies with timely counseling; conduct and assist with fair, effective, unbiased and factual performance appraisals of staff; identify individual and departmental training needs, oversee the performance of the departmental, ensuring development of training plans; review staff performance, attendance, productivity. Champion teamwork, communications, and continuous improvement to meet community needs.
- Monitor and coach account manager team's utilization of mobile recruitment best practices, including new account onboarding, mobile drive task completion, utilization of the account manager toolkit, and mobile drive performance coaching.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of staff and recruitment operations. Ensure departmental policies, procedures, and processes are followed. Uphold thorough and effective communication and dissemination of information to account managers, drive coordinators, leadership, coworkers, and business partners.
- Monitor and vet the mobile drive calendar for scheduling efficiency, geographic targeting, and adequate projections to meet goals.
- Proactively addresses scheduling / projection shortfalls through coordinated development of new strategies, campaigns, and blood drive recruitment.
- Provide support to the account manager team with planning, logistics, and recruitment, intake customer concerns, as well as assist with problem solving to mitigate issues related to mobile drive success.
- Monitors all new and incoming mobile drive account relationships and directs to the appropriate account manager.
- Monitors and tracks competitor activity within We Are Blood service area to assist Director of Donor Engagement in mitigation tactics.
- Serve as mentor and subject matter expert to the account manager team with coordination and teamwork across departments at We Are Blood. Leverage knowledge, skills, and relationships to develop and achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Act as a leadership liaison with the Donor Services department to ensure coordination and problem solving.
- Demonstrate an understanding of applicable We Are Blood strategies and goals and how they address the community needs. Help review and develop mobile recruitment strategies, making alterations, pursue changes for preparations and practices.
- Perform Account Manager duties as needed.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required :
Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.3-5 years of experience in blood banking, with a preference for experience in mobile recruitment and sales. College may substitute for experience.Must have experience managing or leading a group / team; ability to provide coaching to peers in order to improve performance.Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and business contacts.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.Ability to develop and deliver informative and / or persuasive presentations.Must be able to work independently with little supervision.Strong public speaking skills.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills who is goal oriented.Ability to foster and maintain an office environment where teamwork and professional respect are the foundation for achievement.Computer skills that include the competent use of Microsoft Office SuiteMust be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Texas driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance, and an acceptable driving record. Must be able to provide reliable personal transportation.Mental and Physical Abilities :
