Our client, a nationally recognized healthcare system, seeks a  PCU Stepdown RNs for their Brooksville, FL facility. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a high acuity environment. You will join an amazing team that works hard to support each other.

Job Requirements

Licensure : Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain FL RN license if relocating).

Education : Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.

Experience : Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required.

Previous charge nurse experience strongly preferred.

Open to candidates with prior LTACH, rehab, or home health backgrounds.

Certifications :

BLS (Basic Life Support) – required.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required

Skills : Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities. Must be comfortable in a high-acuity, telemetry-monitored environment.

Benefits

Schedule and Unit Details

Unit : Cardiac PCU (Stepdown)

Beds : 46 (3rd floor)

Patient Ratio : 4–5 : 1 (may be up to 5–6 during high census).

Telemetry : All patients monitored.

Common Diagnoses : Atrial fibrillation, RVR, post-cardiac catheterization, and cardiac drips (non-titrating).

Shift : Nights (7p–7a) with rotating weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

Shift Differentials :

Nights : +$4.75 / hr

Weekends : +$3.00 / hr

National Certification : +$2.00 / hr

Sign-On Bonus : $10,000 (Days) –

$15,000 (Nights)

Relocation Assistance : Available on a case-by-case basis
