The Temecula Valley Hospital Security Guard is responsible for protecting life and property of all persons on the hospital premises. Primary duties include patrolling buildings and grounds of the hospital to prevent fires, theft and vandalism.

Essential Job Duties

• Inspecting doors, windows, and locks to determine level of security.
• Ensuring only authorized personnel are admitted onto hospital premises.
• Escorting visitors, patients and personnel to and from parking areas with consideration for age specific needs.
• Patrolling parking areas to detect any irregularities.
• Responding to emergency calls for assistance to control disorderly conduct or combative patients and demonstrating age specific responses in these situations.
• Inspecting outgoing parcels as necessary to prevent theft of hospital property.
