Tax Director

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Director to join their Real Estate group in their Stamford, CT office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare tax returns for closely held businesses and their owners
• Develop new and existing client relationships and knowledge of client’s businesses
• Work closely with Tax Partners to satisfy the needs of planning compliance
• Understand and manage firm risk on tax services performed
• Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence, and other documents
• Manage multiple clients, budgets, and production goals
• Supervise, train, and guide tax associates and senior associates
• Analyze and resolve tax notices with federal and state tax authorities
• Stay up to date on new and changing tax legislation
