Position Overview
The Senior Tax Manager will play a key role in overseeing the firm’s tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership and business teams, providing technical expertise while effectively communicating complex tax matters across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a blend of public accounting and in-house experience, with a strong background in corporate and international tax.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance and reporting for the firm and its entities.
- Oversee preparation and review of tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
- Partner with business leaders to assess tax impacts of new transactions, investments, and structuring.
- Monitor and evaluate developments in tax law, providing guidance on their potential impact.
- Collaborate with external auditors, advisors, and service providers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or JD / LLM strongly preferred.7–10 years of relevant tax experience, ideally with a mix of Big Four / public accounting and private industry exposure.Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax and international tax matters.Experience with investment management, private equity, or asset management a plus.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Why Join
