We're looking for a Part-time Guest Services Receptionist to join our Facilities Management team! You will work with a JLL team of 12 at a 1.3 million sq ft JLL managed client campus in Sunnyvale, CA!
Location : Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Type of Employment : Part-Time (25 hours a week)
Schedule : On-site, M-F 9 : 30 AM to 2 : 30 PM (5 hrs a day) Reporting To : Receptionist Supervisor
Estimated Compensation : $16.50 - $16.59 an hour
The Guest Services Receptionist is responsible for the delivery of amazing client and guest experiences by ensuring that all customers and visitors are assisted in a welcoming, professional, and friendly manner. This client-facing role provides the opportunity to combine your passion for service, brilliant people skills, and enthusiasm for creating a hospitality-focused workplace environment.
What your day-to-day will look like :
- Welcome and assist guests - Enthusiastically greet visitors, employees, and callers while anticipating their needs and providing timely support for arrivals, departures, and office orientations
- Serve as central information hub - Act as primary point of contact for campus wayfinding, services, activities, and general inquiries
- Maintain professional front desk operations - Monitor and upkeep lobby areas to ensure a safe, clean, organized environment that reflects brand standards
- Execute badging and access control - Process credentials for employees, visitors, and third-party providers following established protocols
- Proactively collaborate across teams - Work with facilities management and support teams to anticipate needs, prepare for meetings / events, and deliver creative solutions
- Manage work orders and escalate issues - Create maintenance requests and identify potential risks, escalating security, safety, or operational concerns as appropriate
- Provide exceptional customer service - Demonstrate confidence, professionalism, and responsiveness while implementing service standards that meet and exceed expectations
Required Skills and Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1+ years of previous customer service, security, or hospitality-related experiencePeople Person : The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expectedFlexibility and positive attitude in managing shifting daily prioritiesExcellent Communicator : Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate professionally through the spoken and written word. Fluency in English requiredKnows how to multi-task and prioritize while ensuring consistent and elevated guest experiences and accuracyWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)Ability to perform minimal physical activity such as carrying small packagesHave the ability to walk and cover 4 different lobby buildingsPreferred Skills and Experience :
