SUMMARY

The purpose of this job is to perform all equipment and facilities related electrical, mechanical,sheet metal, welding, instrument, and pipe fitting work.Utilizes process and maintenance knowledge to assist in theplanning and performance of all tasks. Provides leadership and training for othermaintenance department employees in the performance of their duties.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

• Specify, order or otherwise procure the necessary materials and equipment to
• be utilized on various jobs.
• Participates in electrical , mechanical, PLC, computer, alignment, vibration
• analysis, etc. for all maintenance crafts.
• Assist with training other craft employees.
• Performs any type of electric arc and acetylene welding and cutting

assignments using generally accepted welding and cutting procedures (includes

soldering, brazing, inert gas welding, etc.)

and precision instruments.

structures (main breaker & bus), interlocked armour cables, large circuit breakers

main disconnects, furnace power regulators, furnace firing transformers, 480 / 277volt lighting distribution panels, etc.

including ANY system requiring flame safety supervisory controls such asasphalt booster heater, HVAC boiler, oven zone burners, incinerator burners,large Hartzell heaters.
